We Start September 20th!
Bhakti Spirit Classical Yoga School 200RYT
We will have an 8 month journey together with:

8 Weekends in person together (160 hours)
1 Saturday at Kula Kamala Ashram (10 hours)
15 hours of Yoga Sutras Studies in person or online Wednesdays Oct 1 - Dec 10th 7:30-9pm (no class Nov 26th)
2 hours private mentorship in person or virtually with Gita Kali
13 hours Approved Elective Study (kirtan, seva, workshops, classes)

Bhakti Spirit's Classical Yoga School invites you to embark on a transformative journey with our spiritually focused 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training. This Yoga Alliance-approved program is not limited to aspiring teachers—it’s designed for anyone seeking a deeper connection with themselves and their yoga practice. Dive into an immersive exploration of personal growth, yoga philosophy, and spiritual living. The curriculum emphasizes personal practice, the wisdom of yoga scriptures, bhakti (the path of the heart), mantra, and seva (selfless service). Whether you choose to teach yoga or simply share its light through your daily interactions, this experience will empower you to live your yoga and inspire others along the way.


Lead Teacher
Gita Kali, Founder and Director of Bhakti Spirit, is passionate about leading yoga teacher trainings, as she witnesses the profound transformation her students undergo through the journey. She has thoughtfully designed an 8-month program to allow participants the time to deeply immerse themselves in the studies and practices, fostering a meaningful connection with themselves, each other, and the Divine.
With 24 years of yoga teaching experience, 13 years as a kirtan singer, and her role as a Pujari (Hindu Priest), Gita Kali embodies a life devoted to yoga in every breath. She is eager to guide and share this sacred path with you.
Raja Yoga/ Yoga
Raja Yoga, known as the "king of yoga," is a spiritual journey focused on mastering the mind and uniting the self with the divine. Rooted in the timeless wisdom of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, it transcends physical postures, offering a comprehensive framework for understanding and practicing yoga as a holistic discipline. Central to the Yoga Sutras is the Eightfold Path, which weaves together ethical principles, meditation, and self-realization—powerful tools to cultivate inner peace and harmony. For aspiring yoga teachers, studying Raja Yoga and the Sutras is essential—not only to deepen their own practice but also to share yoga’s rich philosophy with others, inspiring a meaningful connection of mind, body, and spirit in an inclusive and nurturing way..


Bhakti Yoga
Bhakti Yoga, the path of devotion, is practiced through nurturing a loving heart, focusing on the divine, and expressing devotion through various means like chanting, prayer, and service. It emphasizes cultivating a loving relationship with the Divine, whether through a chosen deity or seeing the divine in all beings.
